Opening Procedures
PREPARATION
If you followed our advice when you closed your spa, opening procedures will be very simple for you.
- Check the general condition of your spa for the following problems: split hoses, broken valves, loose collars or clamps, ...
- Make the necessary repairs before continuing. If necessary, do not hesitate to go to your TRÉVI store. If you have an AQUA CHECK or TREVI 3-IN-1 TEST KIT, check the expiration date.
PROCEDURES
- Make sure the spa is level
- Remove wooden cover installed when winterizing
- Remove cover and clean with TRÉVI VINYL NET
- Place filtering cartridges and basket in skimmer
- Connect motor, blower and ozonator
- Connect light in the socket on the side wall
- Open ball valves on the pipe ends
- Make sure the spa drain valve on the motor is closed
- Clean the acrylic using slightly soapy water or our acrylic cleaner TRÉVI VINYL NET
- Replace jets in their housings
- Fill the spa
- When water level is at three-quarters of the skimmer, open the drain on the front of the pump for 10 seconds to let the air out.
- Activate the motor
- See the water heater to the desired temperature
CHEMICALS
- Balance alkalinity. It should be between 80 and 150 ppm, ideally 120 ppm
- Balance pH. The spa water should be alkalic, i.e. between 7.2 and 7.6
