Spa maintenance every three months
It is recommended that the spa be emptied at least four times per year since the water becomes chemically saturated and will no longer react to normal chemical maintenance.
The equipment must also be emptied after long period of disuse, before it is used again.
EMPTYING THE SPA
Due to the small volume of water in the spa, it is sometimes less expensive and easier to empty the spa rather than to attempt to regulate the chemical balance by using additives. Don't waste too much time if the water becomes cloudy, after one or two attempts to solve the problem, simply empty the spa.
Close the main circuit breaker supplying power to the equipment.
Connect a hose to the tap on the equipment bay. Open the tap and allow the water to flow by gravity.
When the spa is empty, close the tap and remove the hose. To remove the remaining water, use a wet vacuum.
Then clean the acrylic using "TREVINET". Then rinse thoroughly before refilling the spa.
THE COVER
The cover also needs maintenance. Clean the underside of the cover with "TREVINET" to remove the chemical evaporation and any mold that has formed. Rinse thoroughly.
