Bottom Drain

This drain maintains the bottom of the pool, eliminating the need to vacuum, except at the beginning of the season or in case of staining or fine debris. Il also warms the water as it sends the water from the bottom to the surface.

To check the bottom drain, place three-way valve on SKIMMER and activate the pump. Remove basket and put your hand in the skimmer; you will feel a trong suction. Check if water is flowing normally from the return hole. Place the three-way valve on BOTTOM DRAIN and activate the pump.

Remove basket and put your hand in the skimmer. You should not feel suction. Check again if water is coming out normally from the return hole. If so, the drain is working normally.

It is normal for the whirlpool not to be as strong as what you see in store due to certain varying factors: pool size, smaller pump, more powerful pump, return hole oriented towards the wall, etc).
